Animal Care

As part of our afternoon enrichment sessions on a Thursday we meet for Animal Care. So far this term we have learnt about dog behaviour and body language (we had two therapy dogs join us for this session), animal welfare and the Five Freedoms, we have had a bird of prey display come in, a reptile road show visit us, been to Deen City Farm, had a horse come into the school, and as shown in the pictures we went over to Beddington Park to learn about our local wildlife and to identify the different species of ducks and swans in the lake. A fantastic series of sessions to bring the subject to life!

The school is making such a difference to the lives of our young people. I am immensely proud of all that you are achieving.

Cllr Ruth Dombey, Leader of Sutton Council
