Congratulations to our Young Reporter Rosina!

Congratulations to Rosina, currently studying in the sixth form for successfully completing all eight articles for the Young Reporter of the Year competition. Rosina met each journalistic deadline and reported on a number of topics and events. Her favourite article was a piece entitled “Wonderful Wetlands” as she enjoyed writing about the wildlife.

Rosina said that the competition was hard work adding “I’ve gone from writing stories to reporting factual events. I really enjoyed writing about lots of different things. Although it was hard, it was good experience working to deadlines to understand what it is like to be a real journalist.”

Rosina summed up the experience saying “I loved taking part in the Young Journalist Competition because it widened my thought process when writing.”

Well done Rosina!

The school is making such a difference to the lives of our young people. I am immensely proud of all that you are achieving.

Cllr Ruth Dombey, Leader of Sutton Council
