School Meals

Caterlink is responsible for providing school lunches at Carew Academy.

The meals meet the School Food Standards and provide a hot balanced meal every day.

The Caterer and his/her staff freshly prepare and cook the meals in our school kitchen.

The meal includes a choice of two main meals (one of which is suitable for a vegetarian diet) or a jacket potato with filling, a choice of two vegetables, a salad bar, freshly baked bread, a pudding of the day or a choice of fresh fruit, organic yogurt or cheese and biscuits, and drinking water.

Please see the link below for information regarding the Caterlink including the menus and allergens information:

Cost of school meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to have a free school dinner, known as Universal Infant Free School Meals.  We would ask that all parents register their child for free school meals, if applicable, as the school receives vital funding known as Pupil Premium, which is used to raise the attainment of children.

School lunches cost £2.15 for per day for Junior pupils or £2.25 per day for Senior pupils.

Parent Pay

The school operates a secure payment service called Parent Pay. No cash or cheques can be accepted for school lunches, as parents can pay online via Parent Pay or using a barcode letter at a Pay point store.

Please see link to ParentPay

The school is making such a difference to the lives of our young people. I am immensely proud of all that you are achieving.
